Inver, a leading Irish supplier of fuel and energy for over thirty years, took the business decision to enter the retail market through the ubiquity of Ireland’s growing service station forecourt network. Copper Reed were invited to explore the potential changes to their existent corporate identity such a major departure would demand.
Initial conversations to identify the best pathway forward were soon to focus on the challenges of creating a new Irish retail personality. The existing logo, which Copper Reed created some years earlier, was determined to be appropriate to the new visual language of retail, but not without some adjustments in terms of colour and lettering style. The revamped Inver logo soon lead this new cohesive retail graphic styling, designed for clear and immediate public acceptance and recognition.
Inver is now an integral part of Ireland’s dynamic service station forecourt network, holding a strong retail presence, looking confident, efficient and progressive. In essence they seems to have successfully hit all those distant and strategic targets they audaciously set themselves – business loves courage.
